Previously, Ralph MacDonald and William Salter wrote a song with this title which became a 1972 number 6 hit for Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway. This song was remade by Sergio Mendes, writer Ralph MacDonald, Robert Brookins Featuring Stephanie Mills, Mica Paris And Will Downing, and Jesse & Trina in the movie Dead Presidents. The Betty Wright and Hanson songs were both different.
