Test Dummies. The group's follow-up, Afternoons &
Coffeespoons, received some pop radio airplay and made the rock
top 20. Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm was from the album God Shuffled His
Feet.
Every Generation
Has Its Own Disease was the only rock top 20 song for Fury In
The Slaughterhouse. No other song came close. The song was from
the album Mono.
Big Mountain
was the third group to bring Baby I Love Your Way into the top
10. Peter Frampton reached number
5 in 1976
with the song. Baby I Love Your Way was a top 20 one
hit wonder for Big Mountain. Another remake, Get
Together, just missed. Peter Frampton wrote the song.
The song was from the movie Reality Bites.
Bizarre Love
Triangle was a 1986number
12 rock hit, and alternative dance classic for New
Order. This Frente remake was a top 20 near miss,
and by far the most popular song by Frente.
Losin' Your
Mind was a top 20 one
hit wonder for Pride & Glory. Pride & Glory was the
group name for Zakk Wylde, who was most famous at the time as
the guitarist for Ozzy
Osbourne. Zakk Wylde later made solo recordings.

Aaron Hall had a top 20 one
hit wonder with I Miss You. He had a string of popular
songs out that missed, including 1992
number 30 song Don't Be Afraid.
Stroke You Up
was the only top 20 hit for Changing Faces. The rap group had
other popular songs, including G.H.E.T.T.O.U.T., which was a
near miss hit.
Love Is All
Around was a 1968 number 7 hit for The Troggs. The Wet Wet Wet
version of the song was by far the most popular tune for this
dance group, passing up its 1988
song Wishing I Was Lucky.
Fade Into You
was the only rock top 20 hit for alternative group Mazzy Star,
and reached pop number 30. The follow-up, Halah, gained slight
rock airplay.
Lucas With The
Lid Off was the most popular song by Lucas. He received lesser
airplay with other songs like Small Talk. This song was from
the album Lucacentric.
The Jingle Cats
version of White Christmas borrowed the idea from the 1970 number
18 song Jingle Bells by The Singing Dogs. The Jingle Cats never
received noticeable airplay with another song.
When 4 P.M.
(for positive music) hit number one with Sukiyaki, it became
the only song to hit number one three times in the rock era.
In 1981, A
Taste Of Honey took the top spot; and in 1963, Kyu
Sakamoto hit number one first. Although Sukiyaki was the only
top 20 hit for 4
P.M. for positive music, the group received slight
radio airplay with I Gave You Everything.
Short Dick Man
was the explicit version of Short Short Man, but this version
received more airplay. This was a top 20 one
hit wonder for 20 Fingers Featuring Gillette. The
follow-up, Mr. Personality, just missed, reaching number 21.
New Age Girl
was the most popular song by Deadeye Dick. The group received
slight radio airplay with other songs like Marguerite. New Age
Girl was from the movie Dumb And Dumber.
