Superstar metal
and rock group AC/DC was a technical pop top 20 one hit wonder,
with only Moneytalks making the pop chart. AC/DC had a long
string of rock chart hits.
One More Try
was the only top 20 hit for Timmy
-T-. The follow-up, Time After Time, reached number
30. One More Try was from the album Time After Time.
The Law included
Paul Rodgers, member of Free, Bad Company, The Firm, and Queen;
and Kenney Jones, member of Small Faces and The Who. Laying
Down The Law was followed with Miss You In A Heartbeat which
received some rock radio play. Despite all this, and its big
number
2 rock peak, Laying Down The Law has been almost
totally forgotten. Paul Rodgers wrote the song.
You Don't Have
To Go Home Tonight was the only top 20 hit for The Triplets.
The group followed-up with Sunrise, which received very slight
radio airplay.
Although Walking
In Memphis was the only pop top 20 hit for Marc
Cohn, he had another rock top 20 hit and other songs
that received radio airplay. Walking In Memphis was remade in
1995 by Cher,
and in 2003 by Lonestar.
Although Kiss
Them For Me was the only pop top 20 hit by Siouxsie
And The Banshees, the group had a long string of
alternative songs, including a few that made the rock top 20
countdown.
Power Windows
was the only rock
top 20 hit and the only song by Billy Falcon to receive
noticeable airplay. Billy Falcon recorded many songs, and his
compositions were also recorded by other artists. He co-wrote
many songs with Bon
Jovi.
