Andrews Sisters was a female vocal group from Minnesota. Andrew Sisters were Patti, Maxine, and LaVerne. During World War II, Andrews Sisters produced patriotic music, and spent time entertaining wounded troops. Andrew Sisters were together as a group most of the time until 1967 when LaVerne had cancer. The other two Andrews Sisters went on to pursue other things, including many public battles between them, occasionally working together in entertainment. The most famous song by Andrews Sisters was 1941 song Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.
